The packaging is lightweight and its concept is adorable!
The tin is suppose to resemble a french macaron. SO CUTE!
I picked up the color apricot macaron at Watson for around 380 NT. The camera didn't capture the blush's intensity. It's more of a pure tangerine in the tin which is this summer's trend.
2 heavy swipes on my NC25 skin |
Unfortunately, the powder isn't very pigmented, but it is build able. The powder puff it comes with doesn't pick up color very well so I recommend using a blush brush. Around 2 swipes per cheek gives a very natural look perfect for any summer outing.
Final comments:
-Texture: matte finish
-Blends nicely
-Not too pigmented, but build able
-Lightweight (cheap) packaging
-Lasts throughout the day (as long as your not sweating balls xD)
-Not waterproof
-Hard to find, but available online if you don't live in Asia
I rate this: 7/10
-1 Poor pigmentation compared to the other colors available
-1 Lack of availability anywhere outside of Asia
-1 Beautiful tin, but cheap quality (There are some subtle dents on my container)
Would I buy this again?
-Probably not. It is a nice blush, but there's nothing too special about it.
Do I recommend it?
-Yes, but only if it's convenient or if you're comfortable with online shopping. There's no reason to go out of your way to buy this product.
Where is it available?
-Watson $13 USD (380 NT)
-Ebay $22 USD for Buy It Now
-Local Chinatown beauty stores in New York City $20-$30
